Forum Rules & Guidelines

Please take the time to read and digest the following rules & guidelines for the forum.
Our forum is a community of both club members and non members. It is available for anyone to join and we try to keep it a family suitable place to be.

General

1. No defamatory comments or remarks about individuals, their vehicles or companies, should be made. In the case of comments about companies, they can (if they want to) take legal proceedings against the committee (not the member) for any defamatory comments made on the forum. These types of comment will be removed.

2. Portsmouth and Southamptom Mini Owners Club in no way condones or supports it's members partaking in illegal activity. With immediate effect any posts on this forum which the moderators feel allude to, or blatently refer to, any such activity will be either edited or removed completely

3. Whilst it is not banned, the use of text/net speak is discouraged in posts on the forum. Text speak makes posts very difficult to read and understand.

4. When posting images wider than 600px, please use the [LARGEIMG][/LARGEIMG] BBCode. This will automatically reduce the size of your image for you. (Instructions here)

5. Try and keep posts on topic and relevant to the forum and thread its contained in!

6. No random posting just to boost your post count.

6. Images larger than 500x80px in signatures will be removed.

Buying and Selling

1. P&SMOC are not responsible for any transactions made via the forum/website.

2. Buying and Selling is limited to Club Members Only.

3. You Buy and Sell items via the forum at your own risk. Please use common sense when purchasing items. (If it's obviously not worth the money, don't buy it and complain about it on the forum)

4. If you have a dispute, DO NOT post defamatory remarks on the open forum about the seller (These will be removed immediately. Settle the dispute privately using the Private Messaging system.

5. Please practice caution when posting personal contact details on the forum. We would rather you ask members to PM you for your contact details.

6. Only items relating to Minis should be advertised in the Forum. Any other posts may be deleted without warning.

7. Starting a For Sale/Wanted thread outside of the For Sale/Wanted forums is not allowed. It will be deleted immediately without warning.
