Club Rolling Road Shootout Saturday April 17th

Postby The Unflushable » Fri Feb 26, 2010 9:47 pm

Back by popular demand I have arranged a club rolling road shootout at Slark Race Engineering in Amesbury for the 17th April.

The rollers have been booked for the day for a cost of £250 + vat, based on the fact Neil is happy to take up to 15 cars the cost will be broken down accordingly to roughly £20 a head.

The day is to be a shoot out with 2 power runs, any adjustments or tweeks will have to be done seperately and charged accordingly for time and parts used. Any car with major issues will have to be re booked for work to be carried out.

This event is open to fully paid club members only and for the first time for both classic and new minis, this means you can't bring dads mondeo so leave it at home!!!!

If we get a smaller amount of cars turn out the cost will increase accordingly although Neil has always run the event for a very affordable ammount. I must stress that no responcibility is placed on either slark's or the club for any damage caused to peoples vehicles, this is run at the vehicle owners own risk and it is their decision to take if they think their vehicle is ok for the runs to be carried out.

In the past we have met at a suitable meeting point before the day, this will be announced nearer to the time.

At this point we will allocate 15 spaces with the option of 3 reserve spaces if need be, I must stress that there is no guarantee of having a run if placed on the reserve list but no charge will be applied.

Money is to be paid on the day and it is a competition to find the most powerful classic and new mini.

I have a question! For those of use that have never done it before....

Do we get a print out of the performance readings? BHP, etc?
