The Italian Job charity is organising a “Step Into France” day on Saturday 20th March. The day will take the form of a Treasure Hunt for Minis of all shapes and sizes. The hunt will leave Dover on the 08-30am crossing, once on board you will be given the clues to guide you around the route to your luncheon venue. The organisers say there will also be ample time for a spot of shopping at City Europe too.

Cost is £79 for a mini and 2 people. Additional passengers are £29 and additional Tee shirts are £5.

In addition to the entry fee, each team is expected to raise at least £30 for the nominated charity; the organisers will provide fundraising material and sponsorship forms.

If you need overnight accommodation before or after the event, try www.premieretravelinn.com they have a hotel just by the ferry terminal, (known as Dover Central).

The entry form will be posted here soon, if you want to go, please print it off, fill in your details and send it off to the organisers.

sorry I can't make this one, I know I said I would come just in december but with the sub frame going on the car and needing new tyres all round... I just can't afford it!
